Start with a conversation

You do not need to book anything today.

The first step is always a free 20–30 minute telephone conversation. It gives you a chance to tell me what has been happening and decide whether I feel like the right person for you.

Send a short enquiry
“Tell me what has been happening. We can take it from there.”

Send a short enquiry

I will reply within 24 hours.

You only need to give me enough information to arrange our initial conversation. Please do not include detailed medical information at this stage.

Why do I ask for your telephone number?

Our first proper conversation is always by telephone. Having your number means we can arrange that call without long email chains going backwards and forwards.

* Required information

What happens next?

A simple process, without pressure.

You cannot book yourself straight into a therapy appointment. We speak first.

  1. 01

    Send a short enquiry

Tell me how I can contact you and give me a brief idea of what you would like help with.

  2. 02

    I reply within 24 hours

We arrange a suitable time for a free 20–30 minute telephone conversation.

  3. 03

    We talk it through

You can explain what has been happening, ask questions and decide whether you feel comfortable talking to me.

  4. 04

    Then we decide

If we both feel it is appropriate to continue, I send an intake form suited to what you want help with.

Personal questions only after we have spoken.

Your intake form

I do not send everybody the same set of questions.

The intake form comes after our telephone conversation, if we decide that we may work well together. It covers the important information I need before offering an appointment and includes questions relevant to what you want help with.

That means somebody contacting me about sleep will not simply receive exactly the same questions as somebody who wants help with confidence or workplace stress.

I read your answers before we meet, so I am prepared when you arrive.

Before you get in touch

A few things you may want to know.

Is the introductory call a therapy session?

No. It is a free 20–30 minute conversation to understand what you would like help with, answer your questions and decide whether it feels appropriate to continue.

Do I need to understand RTT or hypnotherapy first?

No. Most people contact me because they know something needs to change, not because they have already chosen a particular type of therapy.

Will you call me without arranging it first?

No. I will reply to your enquiry and agree a suitable time with you before the telephone conversation takes place.

Can I book and pay for a session online?

No. I do not offer direct online booking. We speak first and, if we decide to continue, I review your completed intake form before offering an appointment.

What if you are not the right person to help?

I will tell you honestly. The introductory call does not place you under any obligation to book, and there are circumstances where another service or professional will be more appropriate.
