“I had my session with Stephen about four weeks ago. It has been a game changer… For the first time in a long time I’m being kind to myself… I thoroughly recommend and thank him for giving me my confidence and self-belief back.”
Real Feedback · Shared with Permission
What people say after working with me.
Choosing a therapist is personal. Qualifications and explanations matter, but sometimes you also want to hear from somebody who has already sat in the chair.
These are genuine words from people I have worked with. They describe their own experiences; they are not a promise that everybody will have the same result.

“I am still me… but a brighter, healthier version of me.”— Ian, Greater Manchester
Different people, different reasons
There is no single story about coming to therapy.
Some people contact me because anxiety has returned. Some have reached the point where poor sleep is affecting the rest of their life. Others simply know that something needs to change.
The reviews below are not clinical evidence and they cannot tell you exactly how you will respond. What they can show is how three people experienced the conversation, the session and the support afterwards.
In their own words
Feedback I am proud to share.
“I messaged Stephen via his website and he emailed me back to arrange a consultation phone call. I went on to have two sessions. In the week after the second session my sleep was improving every single night to a point where I feel back to my best. Stephen’s practical knowledge of sleep and the mind is phenomenal. I can’t thank him enough.”
“I came across Stephen’s webpage and attended a session in January 2026. It was a truly enlightening experience. I am still me, rather a different and brighter, healthier version of myself. I listened to the tailored recording every single day for five weeks, and still ‘top up’ twice weekly. What a difference it has made. Stephen is an amazingly inspiring man.”
Spelling and punctuation have been lightly corrected where needed; the meaning of each review has not been changed. Individual experiences and results vary.
What sits behind the feedback
I want the way I work to feel clear from the beginning.
A good review matters to me, but so does the process that came before it.
A conversation comes first
Nobody books straight into a session. We speak first, you ask questions and we decide whether working together feels right.
The work is personal
I read your intake information carefully and create a recording using words and ideas that have meaning for you.
Support continues afterwards
I check in after three days, at the end of the first week and again around week three. You are not simply sent home and forgotten.
Independent places to read or leave feedback
You do not have to rely only on the words selected for this page.
You can also visit Trustpilot or Facebook Recommendations. If we have worked together and you would like to leave feedback, you can use Google, Facebook or Trustpilot. There is never any pressure to do so.
The feedback I value most often tells me that somebody felt listened to, understood and treated as an individual.

A few honest answers
What reviews can—and cannot—tell you.
Are these reviews genuine?
Yes. Shaun and Stephen shared their feedback publicly through Google. Ian sent me a handwritten letter and has given permission for me to use it.
Why are some surnames not shown?
Where somebody has posted publicly, their public name may be shown. For private feedback, I agree how the person would like to be identified and protect their privacy.
Does a five-star review mean the same thing will happen for me?
No. Everybody arrives with a different history, concern and set of circumstances. Reviews describe individual experiences, not guaranteed outcomes.
Can I speak to you before I decide?
Yes. We always begin with a free 20–30 minute telephone conversation. You can tell me what has been happening, ask questions and decide whether I may be the right person for you.
